It is good, practical advice to be still and listen to the small still voice within, to cut off the constant chatter of the ego as it strives to gain dominance over our Selves. We will never be able to transcend the mental clutter of our minds until we quiet down our constant stream of thoughts and begin to listen to the responses that our prayers create.
