On Souls who have not yet found their way to the Light

Regarding souls who have not yet found their way to the Light, I was asked: “Wouldn’t the Light offer itself freely when we die rather than having to learn how to find it? It seems rather.. not loving.”
I replied that we should keep in mind that there is an endless variation of passing through death as reported by NDE’ers and various sensitive practitioners. We are all at different levels of spiritual process. Death can be traumatic or from a medical condition. If you die confused or disoriented, you don’t know where to go and assistance is needed. The Light is offered, yet many people do not see/experience this. This is when services are offered by dead family/interested parties/experienced retrievals. There are many options for a spiritual recovery. There is also a learning process in self-directing to the Light after a lifetime of denial.
